“California,” Governor Schwarzenegger bragged on PBS, “even though a little tiny spot on a globe—barely can find it—but the power of influence that we have over the rest of the world is an equivalent of a whole continent.”
The article for the Pew report says, “…the same pressures that drove the Golden State toward fiscal disaster are wreaking havoc in a number of states….” It is a polite way of saying that the same policies and crap put out by the Communists in California are the same policies and crap that Californians bring to states when they escape California. And they won’t work here either.
It is time to cease trying to be California; a theme that native Arizonans should have been screaming for years. Let us remove California education from our schools. Put back the truth about the Constitution, for example. Children who know their true rights of the Constitution can fight for their rights. A child that grows up knowing the truth about the Constitution is given hope.
Our founding fathers had faults. So, too, do the teachers that spread that nonsense in class. Let’s stop concentrating on their faults and concentrate on what they did.
Global warming doom-and-gloom has risen to replace nuclear war to cause children to fear that they cannot accomplish anything without government intervention. It is little wonder that they have no hope; they are given no hope in the classroom.
California’s policy is tax-and-spend. Or in the words of one author, “…a heavy and graduated income tax….” Arizona has fallen into the same pitfall. It is a basic economic precedence that the health of the economy depends on the movement of dollars in the form of spending. So the government has taken it upon itself to take it from you to spend. What they have spent it on are items that have taken food from you child’s mouth and the clothes off of their backs and given nothing in return.
It has been used to build standing armies that the founding fathers warned against. I am not referring strictly to the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines. There is a plethora of alphabet soup in the government designed to take your children if you believe in God, attack your freedoms and control your life.
Obama has brought “change” to the function of giving bureaucratic names to these various organizations. He lumps them all into one category: Czars.
There was a time when the country was growing, we had industry. Industry created a number of additional jobs; some high paying, some not so high. We did not have government intervention with “minimum wage” and government approved unions. A man worked for an agreed upon wage and was able to feed and cloth his family. We did not have stimulus packages and businesses that failed on their own merits were allowed to fail. We had a God in this country whose morality controlled population quite well and controlled greed to a degree. Our laws were based on his decrees.
And we did not have a Federal Reserve.
Could it be that it was faith in the all-might dollar instead of the All-Mighty that has ruined this country?
