No, Obama did not lie. He was just satisfied to let people THINK that the guard troops were coming in support of Article IV., Section 4 of the Constitution. In reality, they are here to be used against American citizens.
Remember the heady days of health care when violence ruled the streets? That is, violence caused by those who supported health care. Not the terrorists of the Tea Party. Remember when we could call a person who opposed health care a Racists and get away with it? Even Jimmy Carter had lust in his heart to call those racists who are tired of the government thinking of the Constitution as a G** D*** piece of paper. Remember how the White House vigorously used the term racists against those who opposed health care?
O, that’s right. They came out and truthfully said that they did not use the term racist against those who opposed health care. Obama was just satisfied to let the media run with that term for nearly two-months before coming out and saying that they did not agree with it. After the damage was done.
The big O learned from that, though. He announced that he will send 1200 troops to the border. He was happy to let the media run wild with the story of National Guard troops having illegals face-down in the burning sands of the desert with tanks and M-16s pointed squarely at their heads.
McCain and Brewer came out with the complaint that 1200 troops are not enough. We need 6,000! Now the White House has decided to placate Presidente Felipe Calderon’s ruffled feathers with “It’s not about immigration.” Ha, ha! Fooled you McCain and Brewer!
Now, BREITBART reports that ain’t so.
US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.
The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.
President Barack Obama on Tuesday authorized the deployment of up to 1,200 additional troops to border areas but State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters, “It’s not about immigration.”
He said the move was “fully consistent with our efforts to do our part to stem, you know, violence, to interdict the flow of dangerous people and dangerous goods — drugs, guns, people.”
So the National Guard troops are there to support drug laws which violate the Ninth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, not to support Article IV, Section 4.
So a rancher or a kid riding a four-wheeler along the border can expect to be placed face-down in the burning sand if they happen to have a hand gun or rifle to protect themselves. After all, it’s okay to profile them. You know—white guy—gun. Obviously a racists. And he probably doesn’t support health care! (We’ll have to check with Bloomberg on that one.) And the “troops” will have to do so while pointing their finger and yelling Don’t move or I’ll go bang, bang! I mean it! because they will not be armed.
Constitution, Article IV, Section. 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive [OF THE STATE] (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.
So the President sent them in, purportedly to enforce Article IV, Section 4, Clause Two, but really they are here in violation of Article IV, Section 4, Clause Three. The Governor asked for troops to enforce Clause Two. They are here to enforce Clause Three without the Legislature of the State of Arizona asking.
My years of public school fail me at this point.
No, Virginia, Obama did not lie. He omitted. Just as he is willing to let the media run with the story that those doggone Tea Party members are AGAINST IMMIGRATION! (Though it has been shown that the “founding fathers” believed it should be severely limited.) After all, we’re all immigrants (despite the fact that I was born here and did not come here legally or illegally from another country). They ignore the fact that, time-and-again, it has been stressed that the Arizona law and the rising tension is concerning illegal immigration.
I might hasten to correct a particular historic fact. I’m sure FactCheck.org will back me on this one. We could have owned all of the territory to Mexico City after the Mexican-American War. We withdrew. This land? We bought it long after that war ended. When it was nothing but useless desert.
