Mexico to join suit against Arizona

After Obama used Clinton to announce that he was suing Arizona, we learn that Mexico is joining the lawsuit. They entered an amicus curiae brief asking judges to abandon their oath to the Constitution to continue to allow illegal activity.

BBC News reported,

It also requires police to question people about their immigration status, if officers suspect the person is in the US illegally, and if they have stopped them for a legitimate reason.

The Mexican government submitted arguments as a “friend of the court”, or amicus curiae, meaning it is not a party to the case, but is offering a legal opinion which it believes has bearing on it.

It is in support of a case brought by a group of civil rights organisations, including the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the National Immigration Law Center, and the American Civil Liberties Union.

An AP News Report suggests that lawsuits and boycotts are not stopping the popularity of the law across the country.

“Arizona’s sweeping new immigration law doesn’t even take effect until next month, but lawmakers in nearly 20 other states are already clamoring to follow in its footsteps.

“Gubernatorial candidates in Florida and Minnesota are singing the law’s praises, as are some lawmakers in other states far from the Mexico border such as Idaho and Nebraska. But states also are watching legal challenges to the new law, and whether boycotts over it will harm Arizona’s economy.

“The law, set to take effect July 29, requires police to check the immigration status of anyone they think is in the country illegally. Violators face up to six months in jail and $2,500 in fines, in addition to federal deportation.”

Article IV., Section 4 of the Constitution requires Obama to protect the borders of Arizona which he has refused to do against his oath. Yet he intends to give amnesty with an Executive Order. Article I., Section 10, Clause 3 allows Arizona to protect its borders with whatever force is required.

Republicans are questioning the involvement of Supreme Court nominee Elana Kagan in writing the brief for the case of the government because she may well hear the case in the Supreme Court.

Of course Mexico is against our new law, they want their illegals and drug cartels to be able to cross the border and live here illegally. The drug lords have a big hand in the Mexican government and the illegals take US dollars back to Mexico……Mexico has a win win situation.
Our law needs to stand and Mexico and Obama need to get their noses out of our business.

I suspect that they are not the only ones making money. There is only one reason to make something illegal. And that is to make tax-free profit. If Arizona would take the right stand, we could close down the border and we have a right under federal law and the Constitution to make it happen.
