3TV Senatorial Candidate Debates

3TV political reporter and Politics Unplugged anchor Frank Camacho will serve as moderator for the upcoming political debates between Democratic and Republican candidates for Senator of Arizona. Libertarians need not apply. The debates will be streamed live on the 3TV web site.

The Democrats running for the office of U.S. Senate will debate this Friday, July 9th at 7 p.m. live on 3TV. Confirmed to participate are former Tucson Vice Mayor Rodney Glassman, ex-State Representative Cathy Eden, labor organizer Randy Parraz and investigative reporter John Dougherty.

Senate GOP candidates Jim Deakin, former U.S. Congressman J.D. Hayworth and Senator John McCain have agreed to participate in the live debate on Friday, July 16th at 7 p.m. The 3TV GOP debate is the first debate for the candidates and one of only two that Sen. John McCain will participate in before the August 24th primary.

“People all over this country are watching this Senate race closely. What is decided here will impact Arizonans and the nation for years to come,” said Executive New Director Brad Remington. “3TV is proud to be the only valley station to bring these candidates together for what promises to be a lively discussion.”
