Live from the studios of 3TV. It’s Vote 2010. The U.S. Senate Debates with the Democratic candidate.

Monday, July 12th, 2010

Well, if you watched the debate between Democratic candidates, you found out that Mr. John Dougherty will be aggressive, Ms. Cathy Eden will be exact, and Mr. Randy Parraz will be a good union leader and Mr. Rodney Glassman is the proud Vice-Mayor of a sanctuary city. They will all get us out of the war even though they are running for Senator and not Commander-in-Chief. Frank Camacho hosted the debate. Oh, yeah. And they also know all Arizonans don’t like SB-1070. Yet, one of them mentioned the 70% approval rating.

All of them carefully stayed away from the subject of Obamacare, but you can expect the Republicans to be asked about it. They, also, carefully avoided telling you that they are going to push to pass cap-and-trade to fight the evils of global warming, or climate change, or weather re-enhancement, or whatever they are calling it these days.

I tried to get through much of the rhetoric as possible—I really did. It was next to impossible to follow. I’ll try to make some sense of some of the debate.

Chicago spits in the face of the Supreme Court.

Monday, July 12th, 2010

Chicago still fighting for the rights of criminals! Obama administration not expected to fight new law because it only destroys the Bill of Rights. It does not affect “securing a pathway” for illegal immigration.

Chicago – Chicago’s new gun law goes into effect Monday. The law allows Chicagoans to own handguns with some tough restrictions.

Permit-holders are limited to one ready-to-fire weapon in a home, and guns are prohibited in garages, porches and yards.

Gun shops are banned in the city.

Gun advocates are challenging the new law. Two lawsuits have been filed against it.

One seeks to overturn the ban on gun shops, the other targets the prohibition on guns in public.

Gun store owner Joe Franzese is one of the plaintiffs, and he said Mayor Daley is infringing citizen’s rights. We wants to open another store in the city.

Not one Chicago alderman wants a gun shop in their ward.

The Climategate Whitewash Continues

Monday, July 12th, 2010

Global warming alarmists claim vindication after last year’s data manipulation scandal. Don’t believe the ‘independent’ reviews.

By PATRICK J. MICHAELS
Wall Street Journal

Last November there was a world-wide outcry when a trove of emails were released suggesting some of the world’s leading climate scientists engaged in professional misconduct, data manipulation and jiggering of both the scientific literature and climatic data to paint what scientist Keith Briffa called “a nice, tidy story” of climate history. The scandal became known as Climategate.

Now a supposedly independent review of the evidence says, in effect, “nothing to see here.” Last week “The Independent Climate Change E-mails Review,” commissioned and paid for by the University of East Anglia, exonerated the University of East Anglia. The review committee was chaired by Sir Muir Russell, former vice chancellor at the University of Glasgow.

Mr. Russell took pains to present his committee, which consisted of four other academics, as independent. He told the Times of London that “Given the nature of the allegations it is right that someone who has no links to either the university or the climate science community looks at the evidence and makes recommendations based on what they find.”

BP not interested in cleaning up gulf.

Monday, July 12th, 2010

A recent video by a high level BP contractor reveals that BP is not interested in cleaning up the oil in the gulf. This apparent whistleblower provides evidence that the government and oil companies are trying to force “cap-and-trade” onto Americans to further destroy the economy.

Cap-and-trade, which only affects and hurts the poor, is an unspoken campaign promise that you will probably receive no matter which major candidate you elect. The only chance to stop it is to elect real Americans to offices replacing incumbents.

Texas’ Joe Barton apology. Well, Clinton apologized to the Japanese and Obama apologizes for the United States and bows everywhere he goes. Why haven’t we apologized to the north Koreans? Or the Chinese because we haven’t shipped all of our jobs over there?
