Western Coconino Tea Party News

The Western Coconino Tea party met on Wednesday and announced that they won first place for their float in the Williams Independence Day parade.

The meeting started with Al Dunaway of the American Legion donating an American Flag—with only fifty stars—courtesy of the Sons of the American Legion. United States flags can be purchased for $23 and Arizona flags for $20 at Addicted to Deals in downtown Williams to support the group.

On Monday, July 19th there will be a barbecue at the Jesus Life Camp south of Williams at 2333 Perkinsville Road. Republican candidate for Congressional District 1, Sydney Hay, and Republican Senate Candidate Jim Deakins. The barbecue will start at 5:30 p.m.

A reminder that the Republican debate will be held on 3TV tomorrow at 7 p.m.

The meetings for the Western Coconino Tea Party are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. on Perkinsville. In August they may change to the Youth and Recreation Center in Williams.
