The pilot of a plane that crashed has been charged with threatening to kill a politician who was a passenger.
Justin Adams was at the controls of the light aircraft which plunged into a field on General Election day in May, seriously injuring Nigel Farage, the UK Independence Party’s new leader.
The 45-year-old airman was arrested on Sunday and charged with threatening to kill Mr Farage on November 26, and that on Sunday he threatened Civil Aviation Authority official Martin James.
