‘Choose Life’ plates could be seen as anti-death penalty, lawmaker says

Alaska Senate Majority Leader Kevin Meyer, an Anchorage Republican, isn’t denying that abortion opposition is the main reason for his bill that would allow Alaskans to purchase “Choose Life” specialty plates for their cars. But he told the Catholic Anchor recently that it would be “a great way to promote all life.”
