Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.—Abraham Lincoln on Unions
Well, it could apply to unions, couldn’t it?
Fellow entrepreneurs, Americans, anyone who still cares about this country at all — this is a must read: By the end of this week, the US government very likely will have the power to lock up US citizens for life at Guantanamo Bay or other military prisons — without charge and without trial. This means that, in the near future, a controversial Twitter post, attending a peaceful protest, or publishing an anti-Congress critique or anti-TSA rant on Google+ could land you “indefinite detention” for life, in the wording of the bill. No access to a lawyer, no access to trial.
Yes, you read that right. This would target American citizens, on American soil. Military personnel would be able to come into your house like something out of a Tom Clancy novel and chopper your innocent self down to Guantanamo Bay for life.

“This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you’re-on-your-own individualism for everyone else.” – Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
The first ever GAO(Government Accountability Office) audit of the Federal Reserve was carried out in the past few months due to the Ron Paul, Alan Grayson Amendment to the Dodd-Frank bill, which passed last year. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill (HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out. Ben Bernanke(pictured to the right), Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets. Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve’s nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sander’s webpage earlier this morning.
What was revealed in the audit was startling:
$16,000,000,000,000.00 had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world’s banks, corporations, and governments. The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest. Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious – the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is again cautioning consumers that chicken jerky products for dogs (also sold as chicken tenders, strips or treats) may be associated with illness in dogs. In the last 12 months, FDA has seen an increase in the number of complaints it received of dog illnesses associated with consumption of chicken jerky products imported from China. These complaints have been reported to FDA by dog owners and veterinarians.
FDA issued a cautionary warning regarding chicken jerky products to consumers in September 2007 and a Preliminary Animal Health Notification in December of 2008. After seeing the number of complaints received drop off during the latter part of 2009 and most of 2010, the FDA is once again seeing the number of complaints rise to the levels of concern that prompted release of our earlier warnings.
Chicken jerky products should not be substituted for a balanced diet and are intended to be fed occasionally in small quantities.
FDA is advising consumers who choose to feed their dogs chicken jerky products to watch their dogs closely for any or all of the following signs that may occur within hours to days of feeding the products: decreased appetite; decreased activity; vomiting; diarrhea, sometimes with blood; increased water consumption and/or increased urination. If the dog shows any of these signs, stop feeding the chicken jerky product. Owners should consult their veterinarian if signs are severe or persist for more than 24 hours. Blood tests may indicate kidney failure (increased urea nitrogen and creatinine). Urine tests may indicate Fanconi syndrome (increased glucose). Although most dogs appear to recover, some reports to the FDA have involved dogs that have died.
FDA, in addition to several animal health diagnostic laboratories in the U.S., is working to determine why these products are associated with illness in dogs. FDA’s Veterinary Laboratory Response Network (VLRN) is now available to support these animal health diagnostic laboratories. To date, scientists have not been able to determine a definitive cause for the reported illnesses. FDA continues extensive chemical and microbial testing but has not identified a contaminant.
The FDA continues to actively investigate the problem and its origin. Many of the illnesses reported may be the result of causes other than eating chicken jerky. Veterinarians and consumers alike should report cases of animal illness associated with pet foods to the FDA Consumer Complaint Coordinator in their state or go to http://www.fda.gov/petfoodcomplaints.

You might have noticed that the corporate entities have skipped right over this holiday moving from Halloween to Christmas without so much as a mention of the Mayflower Compact. Perhaps it might be a good time to also ask God if he’ll stick around.
We cannot invite you all to our house for the holidays, so we simply offer the following videos for your enjoyment.

The question in the political arena, today, seems to be whether or not Ron Paul is “electable” in his occupy White House campaign. Let us examine the mechanics of an election in our Republic.
During an election, people are supposed to cast a ballot for whom they consider the best candidate for the job of President. The people are you. If you can look beyond political partisanship, as George Washington suggested, and are not dependent on welfare, corporate bailouts, “green” technology handouts to build wind generators that destroy wildlife and are not part of the Federal Reserve system, you might want to vote for him. So you go in and cast your ballot marking the block for Ron Paul.
In an election, if Ron Paul receives a whole lot of votes—preferably more than the opponents—he is electable. If more of the people on the above list vote than thinking people, then he will not receive more votes than his opponent and will be unelectable.
Go figure.
The caveat, of course, is the Electoral College—a group of individuals who do not have to cast their ballots in the manner that the popular vote dictates. If they decide to vote their own way against him, again he is unelectable. Most seem to forget that the Electoral College still exists and they can vote anyway they desire. If the Federal Reserve doesn’t want him elected, it’s a simple matter to buy off those voters.
Americans are lazy, according to Obama. Though one source points out that he was referring to businesses being too lazy seek overseas investment. I suppose he is unaware of Canadians and Chinese buying up foreclosed houses in Phoenix because Americans cannot afford them. Not to mention businesses, such as Circle-K and Target, being owned by foreigners.
You might recall that earlier in his administration, we were notified that we were too “lazy” to learn Spanish or another foreign language. Perhaps he was hoping that if we learned Spanish, or the Mexican language equivalent, we would learn why illegals would kill cops until we get free. We would learn why we own illegal aliens a living.
Apparently, there are those who are not too lazy that they seek “investment” from the government. There are those who get hundreds of dollars in food stamps in Arizona. Except elderly white men and women who are only eligible for sixteen-dollars a month.
How about those lazy people in America that are no longer seeking a job. You know, Obama. The ones who were told by the news media that employers are not seeking anyone unemployed for more than six-months. Some are probably still putting applications in at McDonald’s in hopes of getting jobs servicing those foreign investors.
It’s bad enough that the Chinese and other “foreign investors” do not have to worry about the regulations that you place on American businesses. It’s bad enough that you call for “global warming” legislation that does not apply to foreign investors; ie. Carbon taxes. It’s bad enough that you attack our Christian heritage in favor of those that destroyed the World Trade Centers, according to news reports. Now you call Americans soft and lazy.
Well, after all of that I say that you need to lay off Obama, America. After all, he’s laid off most of you.
by Eric Golub
LOS ANGELES, November 15, 2011—The President keeps attacking his own citizens, confusing them with royal subjects.
Barack Obama recently referred to Americans as “soft.” This week he referred to Americans as “lazy.”
There is only one curseword strong enough to correctly identify and condemn someone who rocketed to the Presidency despite not having created anything of importance. There is only one epithet harsh enough to verbally smack down a man who says nothing, does even less, and blames everybody else for his own failures.
There is only one pejorative for a man who alternates between condescension and smugness while needing Valerie Jarrett to tie his shoes for him.
There is only one insult for a man who lectures businesses about hiring while having never run a business.
There is only one rebuke for a man who lashes out at a “do-nothing congress” while his own party fails to pass a budget for one thousand days.
There is only one thing left to say about a man who is able to hold himself in the highest of regard without having a clue about the simplest aspects of life.
President Obama, you are a Frenchman.

WASHINGTON – A woman who settled a sexual harassment complaint against GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain in 1999 complained three years later at her next job about unfair treatment, saying she should be allowed to work from home after a serious car accident and accusing a manager of circulating a sexually charged email, The Associated Press has learned.
Karen Kraushaar, 55, filed the complaint while working as a spokeswoman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Justice Department in late 2002 or early 2003, with the assistance of her lawyer, Joel Bennett, who also handled her earlier sexual harassment complaint against Cain in 1999. Three former supervisors familiar with Kraushaar’s complaint, which did not include a claim of sexual harassment, described it for the AP under condition of anonymity because the matter was handled internally by the agency and was not public.
To settle the complaint at the immigration service, Kraushaar initially demanded thousands of dollars in payment, a reinstatement of leave she used after the accident earlier in 2002, promotion on the federal pay scale and a one-year fellowship to Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, according to a former supervisor familiar with the complaint. The promotion itself would have increased her annual salary between $12,000 and $16,000, according to salary tables in 2002 from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
Kraushaar told the AP she considered her employment complaint “relatively minor” and she later dropped it.

Almost unbelievable. Holder actually faces Congress and blames them for Fast and Furious.
“But beyond identifying where errors occurred and ensuring that they never occur again, we must be careful not to loose sight of the critical problem that this flawed investigation has highlighted,” he said in this clip.
Yea, Congress. What’s up with that? It should be illegal for government agencies to order gun dealers to sell guns to the Mexican drug cartel that most Americans can’t afford to buy. It makes the Americans outgunned by a hostile enemy force. Not to mention getting Mexican citizens and border patrol agents killed.
Oh, yea. That is illegal.
It just so happens that Americans buying multiple guns is not the problem. The problem is government agencies running interference for gun sales and non-enforcement at the border. I thought the border was secure, Janet.
This one’s really off the radar.
Wind farms, along with solar power and other alternative energy sources, are supposed to produce the energy of tomorrow. Evidence indicates that their countless whirring fan blades produce something else: “blank spots” that distort radar readings.
Now government agencies that depend on radar — such as the Department of Defense and the National Weather Service — are spending millions in a scramble to preserve their detection capabilities. A four-star Air Force general recently spelled out the problem to Dave Beloite, the director of the Department of Defense’s Energy Siting Clearinghouse.
“Look there’s a radar here — one of our network of Homeland surveillance radars — and [if you build this wind farm] you essentially are going to put my eyes out in the Northwestern corner of the United States,” Beloite related during a web conference in April.
Spinning wind turbines make it hard to detect incoming planes. To avoid that problem, military officials have blocked wind farm construction near their radars — and in some cases later allowed them after politicians protested.

WASHINGTON—A team of leading archaeologists announced Monday they had uncovered the remains of an ancient job-creating race that, at the peak of its civilization, may have provided occupations for hundreds of thousands of humans in the American Northeast and Midwest.
According to researchers, these long- forgotten people once flourished between western New York state and Illinois, erecting highly distinctive steel and brick structures wherever they went, including many buildings thought to have held hundreds of paid workers at a time.
“It’s truly fascinating—after spending a certain number of hours performing assigned tasks, the so-called ‘employees’ at such facilities would receive monetary compensation that allowed them to support themselves and their families,” said archaeologist Alan H. Mueller, citing old ledgers and time-keeping devices unearthed at excavation sites in the region. “In fact, this practice seems to have been the norm for their culture, which consisted of advanced tool users capable of exploiting their skills to produce highly valued goods and services.”
“It’s a complex and intriguing set of rituals we’re still trying to fully understand,” Mueller added. “But it appears as if their entire society was centered around creating, out of thin air, actual jobs that paid an actual living wage.”

Candidate for Congress Roger Williams held an open debate with Democrats, recently, which was not aired on PBS. As I understand it, Democrats do not want it to air in his home State of Texas. While Mr. Williams seems to be trying to bring up campaign issues, you will notice the Democrats all respond with the same answer. The Democratic responses make about as much sense as they normally do.
“I’ll be darned if I’m going to set that aside now because a few tea baggers want to somehow muzzle my voice,” she said, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. “We don’t have to sit back and allow a minority in the Congress, known as the tea party, to dominate the discussion in our households.”
This story is just getting picked up in the national press, so expect to hear more about it in the coming days — perhaps even a call for an official repudiation from the White House.
