Yet they still come out and cite the “gun dealers” in Arizona who “sold” these weapons across the border. Bunch of hypocrites!
Guns sold to drug cartel by YOUR government.
Obama has said neither he nor Attorney General Eric Holder had approved the operation and that “appropriate actions” would be taken after the investigation is complete.
Mexican lawmakers said Tuesday they want the U.S. officials who authorized a botched campaign to dismantle illicit firearms trafficking routes to face trial in Mexico.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ (ATF) “Operation Fast and Furious” sold thousands of assault rifles and revolvers to traffickers suspected of being linked to Mexican drug cartels.
The operation’s goal was to unearth and dismantle illicit firearms trafficking routes between the U.S. and Mexico by tracking the weapons, but officials poorly monitored their movement and the majority of the weapons went missing.
The Environmental Protection Agency has doled out nearly $100 million in grants to foreign groups and governments over the past decade, according to a new congressional report.
The report from Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee shows the pace of foreign grants has quickened under the Obama administration, with $27 million in EPA funds going abroad since early 2009 — not counting projects in Canada and Mexico. President Obama signed his 86th executive order (13575) on June 9, which established the White House Rural Council (WHRC). According to The Blaze, the Executive Order seems to be in line with the United Nations radical Agenda 21, as it is designed “to begin taking control over almost all aspects of the lives of 16 percent of the American people.”
Evidence of this can be found in Section One of the Executive Order, which reads:
Section 1. Policy. Sixteen percent of the American population lives in rural counties. Strong, sustainable rural communities are essential to winning the future and ensuring American competitiveness in the years ahead. These communities supply our food, fiber, and energy, safeguard our natural resources, and are essential in the development of science and innovation. Though rural communities face numerous challenges, they also present enormous economic potential. The Federal Government has an important role to play in order to expand access to the capital necessary for economic growth, promote innovation, improve access to health care and education, and expand outdoor recreational activities on public lands.
As the Executive Order references “sustainable rural communities,” it raises a few eyebrows, since that is one of the key phrases found in the UN plan for sustainable development known as Agenda 21. The order admits that it intends to seize greater power over “food, fiber, and energy,” items that are key to human sustenance.
The mission and function of the White House Rural Council, according to the Executive Order, is as follows: “The Council shall work across executive departments, agencies, and offices to coordinate development of policy recommendations to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in rural America, and shall coordinate my Administration’s engagement with rural communities.”
The order doesn’t at all camouflage the levels of authority it will achieve. In order to reach the mission set out, the Executive Order states that the council will “make recommendations to the President, through the Director of the Domestic Policy Council and the Director of the National Economic Council, on streamlining and leveraging Federal investments in rural areas, where appropriate, to increase the impact of Federal dollars and create economic opportunities to improve the quality of life in rural America.”
The Separation of Church and State poster child—Thomas Jefferson—is quoted as saying, “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
The Republican-controlled house has created a list of budget cuts. The White House contends these cuts represent cuts in services that will destroy the lives of every American (paraphrased). It is much better to leave the People destitute and penniless in return for these important services. Continue reading “Budget cuts objectionable to the White House” »
High-ranking congressmen made a concerted effort to financially distance themselves from BP in the aftermath of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, either by reducing or altogether dumping their stock holdings, according to a Center for Responsive Politics analysis of lawmakers’ personal financial disclosure documents released Tuesday.
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) gave up all or a significant amount of their holdings in BP after the 2010 spill, which leaked an estimated 205 million gallons of oil in the Gulf of Mexico and killed 11 oil platform crew members in the initial explosion.
Boehner, who in 2009 reported owning BP stocks valued between $15,001 and $50,000, sold all of his holdings sometime in 2010. His documents do not disclose specific dates of his transactions.
And Kerry, who in 2009 owned BP assets valued between $351,003 and $765,000 — the most of any congressmen that year — sold hundreds of thousands in a string of transactions between the months of April and May when the spill occurred. During his two transactions in May, he sold between $100,000 and $250,000 worth of his holdings each time.
“I gave you no choice. That’s the whole, bright mystique of life, isn’t it? Choice. Maybe that’s what the soul is. Choice.”
“Can we live with the loss of it?”
“Perhaps. But I think it would be better to die trying to win it back.”
Outer Limits episode from the sixties. A Feasability Study is the story of a group of humans taken by aliens for the purpose of slavery. Interesting. Our “government” simply uses welfare, taking over the health care system and the PATRIOT act. They’ve already turned their Constitutional duty to coin money and regulate the value thereof to a cabal of private bankers.
Weiner is now threatening reporters asking questions about his Twitter photo op that he says was hacked. He says that he has to get back to the work for which he receives his unearned income.
On March 30, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan, Jim Brady, who sustained a debilitating head wound in the attack, and his wife, Sarah, came to Capitol Hill to push for a ban on the controversial “large magazines.” Brady, for whom the law requiring background checks on handgun purchasers is named, then met with White House press secretary Jay Carney. During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, “to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda,” she said.
“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”
Obama’s lies are, of course, affecting Democrats, but just barely. Only 51% of his mass believe the border is secure. Recently this Obama renewed his call for amnesty. He called for keeping illegals to fill jobs Americans should be doing.
This, of course, was his plan upon passing Obamacare to ensure he punishes real Americans more by adding an overload into the health care system to finish its destruction.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 30% of Likely U.S. Voters think the U.S. border with Mexico is even somewhat secure, while 64% disagree and say it is not secure. These results include only three percent (3%) who say the U.S.-Mexico border is Very Secure and 29% who believe it’s Not At All Secure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Fifty-one percent (51%) of Democrats say the border is secure. Eighty-six percent (86%) of Republicans and 65% of voters not affiliated with either of the major parties disagree.
This could be why only 23% of likely voters have a favorable view of the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napalitano. Recently she has been in Saudi Arabia to discuss the security of their border and former to that in Afghanistan.
“Napolitano has since been criticized for controversial airport security measures and what many feel is a half-hearted effort to stop illegal immigration. The president in the same speech in which he praised the Homeland Security secretary encouraged Congress to move forward on immigration reform, saying his administration has ‘strengthened border security beyond what many believed was possible’,” Rasmussen Reports said.
Obama is banking on the illegal vote to bolster his failed popularity during his Presidency.
Orange County Republican Committee member Marylin Davenport has apologized for an email sent to GOP members with a picture of Obama as a member of a monkey family. She says that she will not resign, but it is only a matter of time.
News One‘s own Dr. Boyce Watkins weighed in on why republicans would put Obama’s face on a Chimp. Of course it boils down to racism.
“One has to find it quite interesting that there are Republicans who genuinely believe that the tremendous hatred and scapegoating of President Barack Obama is not affected in the least by racial animosity. What might surprise you, however, is that I actually believe some of them when they claim that racism is not the driving force behind their attacks. The reason is that much American racism is subconscious, driven by hundreds of years of social conditioning in our society to continuously reinforce the notion that African Americans are less ethical, less reliable, and less intelligent than everyone else. In other words, we’re seen to be just a step above monkeys,” his explanation reads.
At least he did single out “republicans” even though the first blacks in Congress were Republicans, Democrats kept slavery alive until the Civil War. He did not equate the “republicans” with the “TEA Party” which are not the same.
I wonder if he is referencing On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life. That is the book that is taught to your kids as “science” in school that educates them in just that mindset. It is the driving force behind the Columbine massacre.
It also interests me that Dr. Boyce is talking about double-speak. That is a term derived from the novel 1984 by George Orwell. That is the ability to hold two contrary opinions in one’s mind and believe both. Such as health care is good when you know it is another nail in the coffin of our Republic.
I will not deny that racism exists. Certainly not in the quantity or quality that is depicted by the mass media. I do not even dispute that Dr. Boyce has a point in some cases. I wonder, though, if it can be explained why opposition to health care, say, is racist? Who can forget the immortal words of Jimmy Carter who explained that it is racist to show pictures of Obama as Hitler, but on George Bush, it just looks hillarious. Why is it all right for Obama to play the race card for health care?
Democrats in Wisconsin were crying foul Friday after a significant vote-count change in the hotly contested Supreme Court election gave the conservative incumbent the lead in a race that could decide the fate of the state’s new divisive collective bargaining law.
Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus said it was “human error” that resulted in more than 14,000 votes from her predominantly GOP county not being reported on Tuesday. The corrected totals gave conservative Justice David Prosser a 7,500-vote lead, according to unofficial tallies, and undid the earlier likelihood of a recount.
Senate Democrats thought they had House Republicans cornered on a government shutdown.
Media reports had established the White House and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as being in support of a plan to meet the hot House halfway to its proposed 4 percent reduction in the $1.65 trillion deficit projected for the current fiscal year.
“But, but…” House Republicans sputtered. But the Democrats cuts rely on some accounting gimmicks! But the plan doesn’t include specific instructions to take the money from controversial programs, like the $300 million annual subsidy for Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading provider of abortions. But the Senate hasn’t even passed a bill – none of it is in writing.
But nothing. By the time you get past “agreed to meet halfway” on a fiscal compromise, the rest becomes kind of white noise for most news consumers. It’s boring stuff and folks tune out quickly on minute detail. House Republicans were losing the message war and were heading into a calendar squeeze play.
According to the Thought You Should Know web site, Arizona now enjoys two socialists party members in their representation.
The web site point out that Socialist International, “…is the worldwide organization of socialist, social democratic and labor parties. It currently brings together 131 political parties and organizations from all continents. Its origins go back to the early international organizations of the labor movement of the last century.* It has existed in its present form since 1951, when it was re-established at the Frankfurt Congress. They are now headquartered in London, England.”
The Democratic Socialists of America is the American wing of that group. They even have a “Youth” organization. As if the public education system was not enough.
Ed Pastor from the 4th district and co-char of the organization Raúl M. Grijalva of the 7th district are members of the DSA.
