Saturday, August 20th, 2011A congressional report released last month revealed that top DOJ officials knew about the sting, known as Operation Fast and Furious, in which U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) agents allowed more than 2,000 firearms to “walk” across the U.S. border to Mexico and into into the hands of Mexico’s brutal drug cartels.
As many as 1,700 of those weapons have since been lost, and more than 100 have been found at bloody crime scenes on both sides of the border, including the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona last December. In a letter obtained by the Los Angeles Times yesterday, Justice Department officials acknowledged that Fast and Furious weapons have been linked to at least 11 other crimes in the U.S.

Last week I commented on the Republican Presidential candidates’ knowledge of the Constitution. In that message I made the statement that the Constitution prevents an Obamacare-style individual mandate regardless of whether it’s implemented by the Federal government or a State government. Many of you responded with the same question: “What part of the U.S. Constitution prevents a State government from imposing an individual mandate?” This message is my response to that question:
The U.S. Constitution imposes upon the Federal government a duty to protect certain rights of individual citizens against intrusion by State government. This duty arises from at least two places in the Constitution: Article IV section 2, and the 14th Amendment.
Article IV section 2 states: “The citizens of each State shall be entitled to the privileges and immunities of citizens in the several States.”
The 14th Amendment section 1 states: “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
These sections unquestionably do impose upon the Federal government a duty to protect individual citizens from State violations of certain rights. But, the question is: what rights are protected from State intrusion? That question has been debated since the Constitution was ratified. We fought a war over it, and the question is still being hotly debated. When it’s answered poorly States lose sovereignty, millions of babies are murdered, private property is stolen by States, and many other rights are violated. When it’s answered properly States are prevented from denying free speech, prevented from imprisoning individuals without a jury trial, prevented from disarming their citizens, and prevented from stealing private property.

Fifth District Congressman Robert Hurt (R-Chatham) said that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has dropped a proposal to require farmers to obtain commercial driver’s licenses to use and transport farm vehicles and equipment.
Due to pressure from Congress and the agricultural community, Hurt said, the DOT announced that it would not pursue any new rules or regulations governing the transport of agricultural products.
“Thankfully, this nonsensical concept has been abandoned,” the congressman said.
The regulatory burden that the federal government places on America’s farmers is already staggering, he said.
“Unnecessary rules restricting the use of farm vehicles or imposing excessive regulatory requirements would only make these burdens more onerous and impede farmers’ ability to bring their crops to market at a time when they can least afford it,” Hurt said.

When Jefferson penned the often abused line regarding the need for “a wall of separation between church and State,” it was in response to the fears of religious minorities that government might one day establish a particular religion, or prohibit the free exercise thereof. In short, such a wall was intended to protect the church from the State, not the other way around. When the free expression of one’s core essence becomes the target of governmental control, there is no liberty for the citizens of such a land, for the essence of a person is all that he has, all that he controls, all for which he must ultimately answer before his God. The idea that the Director of the Houston VA National Cemetery, or any governmental official or body, would attempt to halt the free expression of essential liberty is fundamentally abhorrent to a free people, and must not be tolerated by those who have taken the oath to protect and defend the Constitution. That such an atrocity is being undertaken upon hallowed ground reserved for the remembrance of our honored brethren in arms, is but insult added to the central injury, yet it shows the lack of recognition of our God-given rights and must serve as the rallying cry to all who would still answer the call of a nation in need of defense.

The VA is denying any Christian discrimination and claims to be responding to complaints by members of the family of deceased service members.
Representative Ted Poe, of Texas, and other lawmakers are asking for an investigation by the VA to determine if the allegations are true.

(CNSNews.com) – In just four days last week, President Barack Obama’s administration increased the national debt by more in inflation-adjusted dollars than the administrations of Presidents Harry Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower increased the national debt over the entire decade of the 1950s.
At the start of business on Tuesday, Aug. 2, according to the Daily Treasury Statement, the national debt subject to the legal limit was $14.293975 trillion. Obama signed legislation that day lifting the limit by as much as $2.4 trillion—with an initial and immediate increase in the limit of $400 billion. By the close of business on Friday, Aug. 5, according to the Daily Treasury Statement, the national debt subject to the limit had grown to $14.536130 trillion.
Over just four days, the debt had jumped $242.155 billion.

The so-called debt ceiling crisis has nothing to do with the government running out of money. It is about the creation of a super committee, a council of thirteen, designed to circumvent Congress and ignore the will of the American people.
The ruling elite have a plan to take America down. The takedown has a timeline, a schedule, and it has been interrupted and set back by Congress. Despite the fact Congress usually does whatever the globalists tell them to do, certain members hold up the agenda by holding hearings and introducing resolutions on everything from the Federal Reserve to the globalist wars in the Middle East, South Asia and now Africa.
The handpicked “super Congress” – six members from the Senate, six from the House, and the president forming a committee or gang of 13 – will now push through the elite’s agenda behind closed doors in direct violation of the Constitution.

Margaret Higgins Sanger Slee was a grand manipulator and strategist, with a veritable war chest from her second husband, Noah Slee, an oil tycoon.
Many of her aggressive and repulsive eugenics-based efforts were funded by organizations sympathetic with her Birth Control crusade. One of those population control entities was the Ford Foundation, which also funds the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC) and pro-abortion activist groups like SisterSong, both staunch defenders of Planned Parenthood. On June 30, QE2 ended with a whimper. The Fed’s second round of “quantitative easing” involved $600 billion created with a computer keystroke for the purchase of long-term government bonds. But the government never actually got the money, which went straight into the reserve accounts of banks, where it still sits today. Worse, it went into the reserve accounts of FOREIGN banks, on which the Federal Reserve is now paying 0.25 percent interest.
Before QE2 there was QE1, in which the Fed bought $1.25 trillion in mortgage-backed securities from the banks. This money, too, remains in bank reserve accounts collecting interest and dust. The Fed reports that the accumulated excess reserves of depository institutions now total nearly $1.6 trillion.

The bill would have prevented any regulation for energy efficient bulbs that would limit the sale and use of bulbs to only those containing mercury.
5 of the 238 “Yea” votes were Democrats while 10 Republicans voted against the measure.
Mercury is also the same substance used in vaccines given to your children.

Tuesday, July 12th, 2011Bloomberg is reporting that new administration rules have gun dealers ONLY in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas reporting anyone who purchases two or more semi-automatic weapons with detachable clips to the ATF.
You know, the guys that sold guns to the drug cartel in Mexico.
Since all federal gun regulations are unconstitutional—according to Senators Feinstein and Schumer—we don’t need to go there.
According to FOX News,
“In an effort to stem the illicit flow of weapons into Mexico, the Justice Department announced Monday that all gun shops in four Southwest border states will be required to alert the federal government to frequent buyers of high-powered rifles.
Under the new policy, federal firearms licensees in Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico must report purchases of two or more of some types of rifles by the same person in a five-day span. The requirement applies to purchases of semi-automatic rifles that have detachable magazines and a caliber of greater than .22.
ATF estimates it will generate 18,000 reports a year. ATF will retain the information and if no investigative leads have been realized after two years, it will be purged.”
Just like TSA, ATF is now authorized to database information on gun owners without evidence of a crime and without a search warrant. They will hold this profiling effort on gun owners for two years after which, “…it will be purged.”
Not only is that a lie, it’s unconstitutional, as well. The Fourth Amendment protects you against unreasonable searches and seizures. Now they will have an absolute list of gun owners from which to work.
The next step, of course, is to have retail outlets report when you purchase two or more light bulbs within a five-day period.

Friday, July 8th, 2011In an article entitled “GunWalker” at the III Percent Patriots blog, Kerodin III wrote an article beginning with, “Most of you know I rarely comment of GunWalker because I consider it a useless Sparklie.”
In the article, he writes, “Consider: Every ATF Agent who let guns walk, who let Americans purchase firearms without interference, whether they knew it or not, were following 2A.” His article contends that those who are beating the drum against the ATF are actually working against the Second Amendment.
Allow me to start by pointing out a few things. Kerodin III is probably not his real name. Liberals like to cry See! He didn’t even use his real name! I only point this out because it shows their ignorance to their own history. The Federalist and Anti-Federalist used pseudonyms when arguing whether or not the Constitution should even be adopted. Kerodin III is simply following his founding father’s example and using a pseudonym does not distract one iota from his opinion. In addition, I understand the principle of the “3-percenters,” and respect their opinions.
In this case, however, I must respectfully disagree with this writer.
We must understand what the “GunWalking” scandal is really all about. We first heard about it when we heard how Arizona gun dealers were delivering fully-automatic weapons by the truckloads to the drug cartel in Mexico City. Or so the Obama administration would have you believe. Now we learn the truth. Gun dealers in Arizona were told to sell the weapons to known illegal buyers by the ATF. Those same gun dealers were vilified by that very agency. To this day the Mexican government and lame stream media perpetrates this farce every time a bust is made.
