Retired Raytheon Engineer Don Woolley is planning to start the Southern Arizona Conservative PAC in Sahuarita, Arizona. Mr. Woolley has been working on getting the paper work completed with the Secretary of State and has a Facebook page.
In an email exchange, Mr. Woolley explained that their concerns are mainly with southern Arizona, but may promote candidates and government legislation on a case-by-case basis. The PAC is open to people who consider themselves conservative despite their political party. He is asking for donations to get the PAC started.
In an email to one of his possible volunteers, he writes, “We will assemble a board from a wide range of folks, not more than 6, with a treasurer and deputy treasurer, and we encourage you to send us candidate’s info so we can survey them individually, of course the first requirement is they have to be conservatives.
“The qualifications are you have to be a conservative, smaller government, lower taxes, more liberty, balanced budget at all levels of government.”
“We are playing the roll out at the end of the week, I will send you an email with Website and Facebook URLs…we have laid the ground work and are anxious to start taking donations, we will be working through Paypal so rest assured everyone’s security will be protected,” he added.

Gun deaths have declined in New York City, while killings involving knives have increased 50 percent. The issue isn’t guns or knives but people who use guns and knives.
I live just a few miles from the most pro-gun city in the United States – Kennesaw Georgia – where gun ownership is mandatory. It’s not the “Wild West” like some people predicted when it passed a mandatory gun ownership law. “The city of Kennesaw was selected by Family Circle magazine as one of the nation’s ‘10 best towns for families.’ The award was aimed at identifying the best communities nationally that combine big-city opportunities with suburban charm, a blend of affordable housing, good jobs, top-rated public schools, wide-open spaces, and less stress.”[1]
In 1982 the city passed the following ordinance [Sec 34-21] which was a response to a handgun ban in Morton Grove, Ill.
(a) In order to provide for the emergency management of the city, and further in order to provide for and protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants, every head of household residing in the city limits is required to maintain a firearm, together with ammunition therefore.
(b) Exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who suffer a physical or mental disability which would prohibit them from using such a firearm. Further exempt from the effect of this section are those heads of households who are paupers or who conscientiously oppose maintaining firearms as a result of beliefs or religious doctrine, or persons convicted of a felony.
The city’s website states that Kennesaw “has the lowest crime rate in Cobb County,” one of the most populace counties in Georgia. In fact, from 1982 through 2009, Kennesaw had been nearly murder free with one murder occurring in 2007.

TRENTON, N.J.—Official loyalist sources released news, today, that United Nations Peacekeepers stationed in Trenton, New Jersey were slaughtered in an attack by Tea Party terrorists who apparently crossed the Delaware river by night. Early reports indicate 22 of the Peacekeepers were killed and 98 wounded. The brave Colonel Johann Rall may have been wounded in the attack. It is said that the terrorist group was led by George Washington who calls himself a “General.” The Federal Emergency Management Agency has warned local constables against this wanted terrorist, as well as Thomas Jefferson and Paul Revere.
Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis embraced the derogatory term used to describe members of the tea party in an appearance at the Florida Democratic Convention over the weekend.
“I’ll be darned if I’m going to set that aside now because a few tea baggers want to somehow muzzle my voice,” she said, according to the Tallahassee Democrat. “We don’t have to sit back and allow a minority in the Congress, known as the tea party, to dominate the discussion in our households.”
This story is just getting picked up in the national press, so expect to hear more about it in the coming days — perhaps even a call for an official repudiation from the White House.
A couple years ago one of my neighbors asked me to accompany her to a tea party meeting at the Maryville, TN library which is about 25 minutes from Knoxville. I said, “Sure, I’d love to go see what they’re doing.” There were several speakers and most of it was boring classroom beginner’s education for those that were just waking up to the fact that we’ve lost our country. We paid our two dollars and sat in the back of the room. The third speaker’s topic was “Where to go for information.” When they showed pictures of websites of Newt Gingrich and Heritage Foundation and others, I just shook my head and got up and left. I was absolutely appalled that any freedom loving American would send an audience of uneducated people into the hands of those that are worse enemies than the obvious Democrat Marxists. Remember folks, “A false friend IS MORE DANGEROUS than an open enemy.”
For several months I’ve mulled over the thought of exposing everyone they suggested, Newt, Heritage, Koch and a plethora of GOP candidates running for election in 2012 for POTUS. In a previous three part article, SAVING THE REPUBLIC?, I exposed a good deal of the Heritage background, but we will need to revisit and explore more deeply the deception of this allegedly conservative think tank which is anything but a constitutional foundation.
First we’ll start with Newt who masquerades as a rightwing conservative but is one of the most dangerous enemies of freedom now hoping to gain the presidency in 2012. Some friends have told me with all the bad press he’s dead in the water, but I saw McCain resurrected, not once but twice to win the primary in the 2008 elections, so we still need to know the truth about Newt.
CD-1 candidate Wenona Benally Baldenegro has recently focused a lot of time and energy accusing Congressman Paul Gosar of being an extreme tea party Republican. The Huffington Post even covered her campaign with an article titled Arizona’s New Democrats: Wenona’s Bid Inspires Bipartisan Campaign Against Radical Tea Party Rep. Gosar.
Interesting campaign strategy but there’s a huge problem with the premise. Congressman Gosar is anything but a tea party Republican. Yes, he was endorsed by Sarah Palin and yes, he was elected largely due to tea party support but that is where his tea party credibility ends.
Having been very involved with the tea party during the 2010 election, I know firsthand that many in the tea party gave Gosar their complete support based solely on his opposition to the national healthcare bill (and the fact that he waved a pocket Constitution around and promised to consult it before every vote). Few bothered to check any further. If they would have, they would have realized that Gosar is your average status quo Republican who will vote party over principle every single chance he gets. It also would have been clear that Gosar has zero respect for the Constitution, individual rights and personal freedom (perfect example: Gosar was part of a movement a decade ago that tried to force fluoride on the residents of Flagstaff ).
Gosar’s recent vote to raise the debt ceiling along with his votes to extend the “Patriot Act” fly in the face of his supposed tea party principles. These votes (and others) have led to tea party members abandoning the Gosar ship in droves.
Over the past few months, I have been studying various papers written by the Federalists and Anti-federalist who bickered back-and-forth in the newspapers concerning whether or not the Constitution of the United States should be adopted. In case you were unaware, the Federalists were the “good guys” who won and got the Constitution accepted. The Anti-federalists were the “bad guys” who only succeeded in getting that useless Bill of Rights added to the Constitution.
The most notable Anti-federalist were Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry and George Mason. There were many others that wrote about the problems with the Constitution under various pseudonyms, such as Brutus and Cato. Many people of the time had a fair idea of who they were by their style of writing and the newspapers in which their writing appeared.
When people speak of the “Federalists Papers,” they are usually referring to those written by the top three; John Jay, James Madison and Alexander Hamilton all writing under the name of Publius. There were others, though, that wrote under other pseudonyms.
While searching for information concerning this argument, I happened across a file that I downloaded on my computer from Project Gutenberg some months ago. The original was edited by Paul Leicester Ford and published in 1892. After receiving a copy, I set about to continue editing the book. The very first series of papers included in this volume were rather stunning. Thus, I have decided to share my book learnin’ with you.
The first series of letters were written under the name of Cassius and accredited to James Sullivan of Massachusetts. He was the 7th governor of Massachusetts. He was Irish and on that count I will simply relate that he spoke his mind. He was defiantly a Federalist. He wrote a series of eleven articles. The first seven articles were a scathing review of the opinions of Anti-federalists. In particular, Numa, Vox Populi—or rather Vox Insania—and Agrippa. His writing shows that he had a certain disdain for each of these individuals who e’er they were.
The Separation of Church and State poster child—Thomas Jefferson—is quoted as saying, “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
The Republican-controlled house has created a list of budget cuts. The White House contends these cuts represent cuts in services that will destroy the lives of every American (paraphrased). For Day Three of our Honor America Days, we have decided to look into the those areas of responsibility that the Constitution affords the United States government. The major portion of those duties and responsibilities can be found in Article I., Section 8 of the Constitution of the United States of America. Let’s examine Article I in more detail. I have added the number of each clause in brackets for clarification.
In evaluating the Constitution, an anti-Federalist who wrote as “Brutus” wrote:
Perhaps this country never saw so critical a period in their political concerns. We have felt the feebleness of the ties by which these United-States are held together, and the want of sufficient energy in our present confederation, to manage, in some instances, our general concerns. Various expedients have been proposed to remedy these evils, but none have succeeded. At length a Convention of the states has been assembled, they have formed a constitution which will now, probably, be submitted to the people to ratify or reject, who are the fountain of all power, to whom alone it of right belongs to make or unmake constitutions, or forms of government, at their pleasure. The most important question that was ever proposed to your decision, or to the decision of any people under heaven, is before you, and you are to decide upon it by men of your own election, chosen specially for this purpose. If the constitution, offered to your acceptance, be a wise one, calculated to preserve the invaluable blessings of liberty, to secure the inestimable rights of mankind, and promote human happiness, then, if you accept it, you will lay a lasting foundation of happiness for millions yet unborn; generations to come will rise up and call you blessed. You may rejoice in the prospects of this vast extended continent becoming filled with freemen, who will assert the dignity of human nature. But if, on the other hand, this form of government contains principles that will lead to the subversion of liberty — if it tends to establish a despotism, or, what is worse, a tyrannic aristocracy; then, if you adopt it, this only remaining assylum for liberty will be shut up, and posterity will execrate your memory.
For a moment, imagine that you are awakened one night by a heavily-armed team of federal agents dressed in all black breaking into your home. As you confront them, they hand you a piece of paper that says that your son has been identified as a “terrorist” and that they are there to take him away. They pull your son out of bed, they throw him on the floor and the use a taser on him repeatedly. Then they handcuff him and haul him away without telling you a thing about where they are taking him. Your son suddenly has no rights because the Patriot Act supersedes the U.S. Constitution. That’s right – because your son has been identified as a “terrorist” because of something that he has said on the Internet he no longer has any constitutional rights. Your underage son is held indefinitely and is subjected to “enhanced interrogation” because he has been identified as a “threat”. You are not able to get your son back for years even though it turns out that he is completely and totally innocent. If you think that such a thing cannot happen to you then you are a fool, because this kind of thing is happening over and over across the United States and it is all legal because of the Patriot Act.
America is rapidly turning into a horrible Big Brother police state and most of our politicians are fully supporting this transformation. In fact, the U.S. House of Representatives gave us quite a Valentine’s Day gift the other day when it voted to once again extend provisions of the Patriot Act that allow for domestic surveillance of American citizens, wire tapping of American citizens and warrantless searches of the homes of American citizens.
What was perhaps most disappointing was that a large number of “Tea Party politicians” cast votes in favor of renewing the Patriot Act provisions.
